Joe as far as I am concerned the "prosperity" gospel as preached by the popular televangelists is a sham. Prosperity in the eyes of man is about material things but if you recognize what the early church and the apostles valued it was a lifestyle that met needs and forsook material riches.
Hello Jason,
I would like to ask your opinion about the the "Prosperity" message that seems to get a lot of air time, T.V. and pulpits. I do understand the importance of money. As of today, I have never heard anyone preach on this verse. When ever I hear someone preaching the "PROSPERITY" it fallows pretty much the same format. I will turn the channel or not go back to that church. It up sets me because we, "the church" all ready have enough issues to deal with. If one is prayed up and spends time in the word and walks in the and lead by the Holy Spirit, they should feel might, "PROSPEROUS". Your bio leans me to the faithful son of a faithful father.
God Bless you and family,
Joe
